Award-Winning Excellence in Music & Performing Arts
Proud Winners of the Community Impact Award 2026
Fermanagh School of Music and Performing Arts is incredibly proud to have been awarded the Community Impact Award at the Fermanagh Herald Business Awards 2026, recognising our outstanding commitment to enriching lives through music, drama and the performing arts.
This prestigious recognition comes as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, marking a remarkable journey from a small music school with a big ambition to a thriving performing arts organisation, supporting hundreds of students and providing employment for 23 talented professionals.
Founded by Ciara O’Flanagan, our school was built on a simple belief: that every young person, regardless of their background or location, deserves access to exceptional opportunities in music and the performing arts.
Over the past decade, we have expanded our programmes to include instrumental and vocal tuition, speech and drama, musical theatre, recognised examinations and full-scale theatrical productions. Through these opportunities, we have helped young people discover their talents, develop confidence, build friendships and achieve goals they once thought impossible.
This award celebrates far more than our performances. It recognises the lasting difference we strive to make in our community, the dedication of our teaching and creative teams, and the trust and support of the families who choose us.
